I’ve been so busy lately but I wanted to pass along an update. I had a pretty productive weekend and am working on building a number of web sites for myself. They are all experiments in SEO. Here’s a list of them:

They are all in production so please don’t judge them too harshly. I’m showing them not only to you but also to google (so google will start indexing them). I’ll have more for you soon. Feel free to contact me with questions.

Well it’s been a month since my last post…I know such a slacker. Actually I’ve been too busy to write but have been learning all kinds of great things in the last month. Here are a few things I’m planning on covering in future blog posts:

  • The importance of google local listings
  • How to set up a blog under your own domain name
  • Newspapers and the internet
  • Setting up a forum on your web site

Look for video to accompany my web site posts. You also may have noticed a redesign of my web site. Since I’m planning on blogging more, I wanted to change up the look so that my posts are more readable.

Thanks!

I’ve been working on a new side project. It’s a little entrepreneurial venture called http://www.carlscoupondiscounts.com. It’s not complete yet but it will be yet another experiment in search engine optimization. I will be an affiliate helping people find coupon codes and discounts. I also plan to put an extra spin on things by playing the company spokesperson “Carl.” I plan to do a series of video segments pushing products and placing them on all video websites. This will help with link building and driving traffic to the website. I’m also on twitter at http://www.twitter.com/coupondiscounts. The hardest part about it will be to find time to work on it!

Here’s my old flash website. I redesigned it in April of this year:

It has a lot of the work I did for Playhouse Square and freelance work that I’ve done over the years. It’s a bit of a teaser for now.

Well hello there! Thanks for visiting my website jsammon.com. I’m in the middle of moving my website from one hosting company to another and switching to a wordpress blog format. Before I was on a windows server and was forced to used a free asp based blog. It was effective as far as SEO but fell short of my expectations.

Wordpress is breathtaking and I’ve been setting it up for a bunch of different freelance clients. We also use it at Paul Werth.

Please stay tuned for more content. I’m working on it!
